The auditor, also called legal auditor, practises a regulated profession that inspires trust between entities - either public or private, commercial or non-commercial - and their partners.
As such, he/she gives an opinion concerning the entities' accounts and keeps a watchful eye on the quality of their internal procedures and the prevention of business difficulties.
